Art direction for our first restaurant in Salerno inspired from an italian food trend with which we share environment valorisation and semplicity. Talking about chilometrozero means to talk about the research of food produced in a place that should be as close as possible to where it will be eaten. According to this we start our project in the centre of Salerno putting the emphasis on everything that is produced in our region Campania, changing day by day our menu depending on the seasons’ wheel and the market offers.
We thought about building up a place that could be the expression of our territory not only regarding the food but even with its lights, colours and sensations. That’s why we choose materials handcrafted in our territories such as Vietri sul Mare’s ceramics, local carpenteries, and recycled papers.
